What permissions should I set for an account?

With permissions, you determine which parts of the STA Portal are available to a user, giving someone access only to the features needed for their work.

Always set the permissions correctly before anyone starts actively using the software.

Note: these permissions apply only to the STA Portal.
There are no separate permissions for the STA App. Once someone has access to a project in the app, they can view and edit all recordings within that project.

All permissions	Checks all the permissions below at once.
Live Management View [All or Own]	Provides access to project statistics, recordings, and recording points within Live Management View. Select All for all projects or Own for linked projects only.
LMV Summary [All or Own]	Provides access to the summary of statistics within Live Management View.
Library Overview [All or Own]	Provides insight into open and completed survey points per project, construction number, and library.
Handover and Inspections	Provides access to the Handover and Inspections module.
Quality Assurance	Provides access to the Quality Assurance module.
Control Plan	Opens the Control Plan module.
Safety Inspections	Opens the Safety Inspections module.
Aftercare	Provides access to warranties and after-sales service items.
Toolboxes	Opens the Toolboxes module.
QHSE Planner	Provides access to the QHSE Planner.
Delete checkpoints	Allows you to delete inspection points within projects.
Delete Inspections	Allows you to delete complete records.
Delete recording signatures	Allows you to delete signatures within recordings.
Relationships – Staff	Provides access to managing staff members within Relationships.
Relationships – Third Parties	Provides access to managing external contacts such as clients, subcontractors, and quality assurance personnel.
Projects [All or My Own]	Provides access to the Projects menu. Select All for all projects or Own for linked projects only.
Add/Edit Project	Allows you to add and edit projects.
Duplicate Project	Allows you to duplicate projects, including linked relationships.
Delete/Archive Project	Grants permission to delete or archive projects.
Project data	Provides access to project information such as construction numbers, drawings, and files.
Import OA	Grants permission to import action holders via Excel.
Add/Edit OA	Allows you to add or modify action holders within projects.
Delete/Archive OA	Allows you to remove action owners from projects.
Recordings [All or My Own]	Provides access to manage recordings.
Meter Readings [All or Own]	Provides access to meter readings and export options.
Reports	Provides access to reports.
Recording Reports [All or Own]	Provides access to recording reports and key statements.
Reports from Live Management View	Provides insight into reports created from Live Management View.
Functions (basic tasks) for managing the schedule	Grants permission to manage and copy basic tasks within the schedule.
Notifications [All or My Own]	Provides access to notification management.
Security notifications	Grants permission to manage safety notifications.
Warranty Notifications	Grants permission to manage warranty notifications.
Manage warranties	Grants permission to manage warranties.
Toolboxes [All or Own]	Provides access to toolbox meetings and management functions.
Start Toolbox	Grants permission to start new toolbox meetings.
Manage toolbox meetings	Allows you to modify, delete, and add toolboxes.
Libraries	Provides access to managing libraries within projects.
Room names	Provides access to managing room names.
Urgencies	Provides access to managing urgencies.
Recording point status	Provides access to managing intake point statuses.
Comments	Provides access to managing standard comments.
