How do I see unread chat messages at record points?

If you see a red dot near a recording point, there is an unread chat message waiting for you.

Please note: You will only see a notification for unread chat messages if you are a participant in the chat. Chats that you did not start yourself, in which you have not posted a message, or that have not been shared with you will not display a notification.

STA Portal

  1. Open Live Management View within:

    • Delivery

    • Quality Assurance

    • Safety Inspections

  2. Click on the Inspection Points tab.

  3. You can recognize recording points with an unread chat message by a red dot above the Edit or View button.

STA App

  1. Open the desired project and go to the recording.

    Or open All Recording Points directly.

  2. You can recognize recording points with an unread chat message by a red dot on the right side of the recording point.

Tip: Use the 'Unread' filter to filter out all unread points in a recording

STA Ready Report

  1. Open STA Ready Reports via the Open Ready Reports button in the email.

  2. View the list of recording points.

  3. You can identify recording points with an unread chat message by a red dot on the right side of the recording point.
