How do I delete a recording point?

Explanation of removing recording points

This feature is only available to contacts with the "Administrator" role. If you are not an administrator, please ask an administrator to follow these steps.

Delete a recording point

Deleting recording points can only be done from the STA Portal.

  • Step 1: Open the Live Management View menu and click on:

    • Delivery and Inspections;

    • Quality Assurance;

    • Safety Inspections;

    • Warranties/Aftercare;

    • or Toolboxes.

  • Step 2: Click the 'Records' tab and filter for the record you're looking for.

  • Step 3: Click on the recording number (for example, Q2) to view the recording’s contents.

  • Step 4: Check that you have the correct recording; scroll down until you see the list of recording points.

  • Step 5: There, select the recording points you want to delete by clicking the white checkbox before the recording point.

A button labeled 'Delete Selection' will now appear at the top of the list of recording points. You will be asked to confirm the deletion by typing it in. NOTE: This action cannot be undone.

Do you currently have your app open on a device? The deletion will only take effect in the app once you have synced. Go to the start of the app and click on the cloud icon above the projects.
