Quality Assurer: How can I assign actions to the contractor through the KiK tool?

Instructions on linking actions to build numbers in kik and following up on responses

Written By Sven van der Kemp

Link an action to a construction number of the project in the KiK tool

In this section, you will learn how to link an action to a construction number in KiK

  • Step 1: Go to the contractor's project and click on 'Start assessment'

  • Step 2: Add the appropriate risks to the chapter rules

  • Step 3: Click on 'Add actions' for the risk to assign actions to the correct construction numbers.

Points to note when assigning actions

  • Not all NL-SfB codes are supported by STA Software. If an action is implemented that is not supported by STA Software, this will be displayed in STA Software in the construction number overview as a warning.

  • Link one construction number to the action, but never more than one. Otherwise, it will not be implemented in STA Software.

  • The frequency is always 1 in STA Software, regardless of whether you adjust the frequency.

Assessing an action

Once a scheduled action has been responded to by the contractor, you can assess the response.

  • Step 1: Go to the project and click on the 'Execute warranty plan' menu.

  • Step 2: Select the response you want to assess.

  • Step 3: Indicate whether the response is approved or not approved and whether this assessment is final.

Please note: If you make the assessment final, the contractor will no longer be able to change the response. Do you want the contractor to be able to change the response after repair? Then set it to not final.

Good to know

  • The explanation and documents you add to the assessment are visible to the contractor in STA Software.
