Why can't I see my project in the STA app?

Can you see a project in the STA Portal but not in the app? If so, check whether the project data has been retrieved, whether you have access, and whether the project is active.

1. Retrieve the latest project data

1. Open the STA app.
2. Make sure you’re connected to the internet.
3. Tap the cloud icon next to the search bar to refresh the project data.
4. Search for the project again.

If you’re using the search bar, make sure the search term you entered matches the project name.

2. Have your project access verified

The projects you see depend on your permissions and your association with the project.

Ask an administrator to verify:

• whether you’re using the correct account and company code;
• whether you have access to the project in question;
• whether you’ve been added as a project team member if you’re only allowed to view your own projects.

Are you an external party, such as a quality assurance specialist? In that case, your project affiliation and library permissions may also determine which records you can view or edit.

3. Check whether the project has been archived

An archived project remains visible in the STA Portal but is not displayed in the STA app.

Do you need to work on the project again?

1. Have someone with the appropriate permissions open the project in the STA Portal.
2. Click “More” next to the project.
3. Select the option to unarchive the project.
4. Then, reload the project data in the app.

The project is still missing

Contact STA Support. Include the project name, project number, and whether the project is visible in the Portal. If you receive an error message, attach a screenshot.
