How do you update the STA app?

On this page, we explain how to update the STA app on Android and iPhone/iPad.

To take advantage of the latest features and improvements in STA Software, it’s important to update the app regularly. Updates not only add new features, but also fix bugs and performance issues.

Updating the STA app on an Android device

1. Via the Google Play Store

2. Open the Google Play Store on your device.

3. Search for STA Software at the top.

4. Open the STA app and tap Update.

Update the STA app on an Apple device

1. Via the Apple App Store

2. Open the App Store on your device.

3. Tap Search at the top and search for STA Software.

4. Open the STA app and tap Update.

Via the STA app

You can also check for updates directly from the app.

  1. Open the STA app.

  2. Click the gear icon at the bottom.

  3. Select Check for updates.

  4. Is an update available? If so, the Google Play Store will open automatically.

Tip for major updates

Haven’t updated the app in a while? Then log in again after updating.

Here’s how:

  1. Open the STA app.

  2. Tap the gear icon.

  3. Select Log Out.

  4. Then log in again.

Note: Make sure you don't have any pending tasks before logging out. The app will automatically notify you if you do.
